How often does a diesel engine fire pump need to be tested?

In order to improve the ability of the diesel fire pump to respond to fire signals, it is recommended to inspect it once a week. Taking into account the water hammer effect and the characteristics of the diesel engine itself, we should start the diesel engine at low speed during the inspection, and then slowly accelerate to the speed required for fire protection - 1500r/min-3000r/min. When the water temperature and oil temperature reach 60 °C, it can be gradually decelerated, but it needs to run at idle speed (300~750r/min) for 2~3min before stopping, so as to avoid the supercharger bearing seizing due to overheating of the supercharger during sudden stop.

After parking, be sure to adjust the speed to 1500r/min-3000r/min for fire protection.
Because the inspection process of diesel engine fire pump is more complicated, if there is no special request from customers, we will not consider automatic inspection in the design process. It is recommended that users use manual inspection mode!
